Absences due to excused or unexcused causes must NOT be made up at a later date. If the cause is NOT excused the student will have a penalty of 0.1 points for each hour of absence in the final grade.
The following are the justified causes that are contemplated:
-Illness, surgery and/or hospital admission. Attach medical certificate.
-Attendance to academic evaluation tests of the University of Zaragoza. Attach proof of university studies.
-For reasons of force majeure legally contemplated that justify the impossibility of attending.
Both justified and unjustified causes must be notified (and justified if necessary) to the University tutor and to the school tutor.
The subject and its expected results respond to the following approaches and objectives:
The objective of the School Internships in Aragonese Language is to put into practice in the classroom of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education the competencies acquired in all the subjects that make up the specialization, both in the Degree in Early Childhood Education and in the Degree in Primary Education. They will also serve to observe, analyse and evaluate the relationship between the two areas, theory and practice.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030 (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), in such a way that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement:
- Goal 4: Quality Education. By 2030, significantly increase the number of young people and adults who have the necessary skills, particularly technical and professional, to access employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. This will significantly increase the supply of qualified teachers. 1.2. Context and meaning of the subject in the degree The subject is of utmost importance, as it allows the student to establish connections between theory and practice, as well as to develop didactic skills essential for their professional future as a teacher of Aragonese language, either in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education. 1.3. Recommendations to take the subject It is recommended to have passed all the subjects that make up the Aragonese Language Mention.

1. Competencies in the Degree in Primary Education:
CG2 - Design, plan and evaluate teaching-learning processes, both individually and in collaboration with other teachers and professionals of the center. Consider evaluation not only in its accreditation function, but also in its pedagogical function as a regulatory element and promoter of the improvement of teaching and learning.
CG3 - Effectively deal with language learning situations in multicultural and multilingual contexts. Encourage the reading and critical commentary of texts from the various scientific and cultural domains contained in the school curriculum.

2. Learning Results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results...
1. Knows how to put the theoretical and practical contents acquired in all the subjects of the Aragonese Language Mention into real practice in the classroom of Pre-school or Primary Education.
2. Carries out the proposed observation and reflection tasks without any problems.
3. Is capable of adapting and innovating some aspect of the program(s) of the assigned subject(s) in a partial or substantial way, according to the needs and evolutionary performance of the students of Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
4. Knows how to design activities appropriate to the context of the classroom and the school center, aimed at the learning of the students in the classroom of Aragonese Language in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
5. Creates an environment of respect, discipline, trust and motivation for knowledge in the classroom.
6. Regularly and adequately relates with the faculty of the school, participates in the assigned activities and knows how to coordinate with both tutors (school and faculty)
7. Knows how to write correctly and structure in a coherent way an academic paper in Aragonese language where they analyses, evaluates and contrasts their learning, providing professional criticism and personal assessment.
2.3- Importance of learning results
Achieving the above learning results involves the application and implementation of the theory and knowledge acquired in the faculty in the classroom of Early Childhood Education or Primary Education. It follows that the achievement of these learning results is of fundamental importance for the culmination of the students' training , as well as for their incorporation into the world of work and the teaching profession in the field of their specialty.

4. Methodology, learning activities, program and resources
4.1. General methodological presentation
The learning process designed for this subject is based on the following:
In the verification of learning with the provision of data and in the feedback and academic criticism on the actual teaching environment.
4.2. Learning activities
The program offered to the student to help them achieve the expected results includes the following activities
1. A mandatory stay in the school center of 165 school hours. Absences must be made up for, including those excused by certificate.
2. Sharing, discussion and guidance of the different activities in the periodic meetings with the faculty tutor.
3. Academic work, where they will present the results of their learning during the School Internships, according to the specified criteria.
Contents of the academic work:
1. Presentation in schematic form of the classroom context: data such as the level or age of the students and the number, as well as a brief mention of the classroom materials and resources. It will also include data on the Aragonese teaching model implemented in the center and on the sociolinguistic situation of the context in which it is located.
2. Observation tasks whose guidelines will be given at the beginning of the term.
3. Presentation and explanation of the activities that have been developed in coordination with the tutor of the school, as well as those designed or taught by the student themselves specifying the authorship with total clarity.
4. Academic and critical opinion based on the existing or non-existing relationship between school practice and the theoretical and practical subjects studied in the Mention of Aragonese Language.
5. Reflection and self-evaluation on the student's own performance in the classroom and the learning achieved.
Format of the academic work:
The academic work must be presented in the following form: It will be written in the Aragonese language.
Any type of font may be used, always in size 12 and with 1.5 point spacing.
The cover page must include: name and surname of the student and of the faculty tutor, school and full name of the tutor
On the first page, the table of contents with the pages corresponding to each chapter. If it includes citations or bibliographic references, this will be done in a scholarly manner.
If books, articles, records, films, web sites or didactic materials of any kind are cited, all references will be included in a final section of bibliography and materials, arranged alphabetically by author.
Length: between 3,500 and 4,000 words, excluding table of contents and bibliography.
It is obligatory to submit it in paper format, although no special binding is required. It is mandatory to send it also by email to the faculty tutor, in PDF format.
4.3. Program

4.1. Planning of learning activities and calendar of key dates
Schedule of face-to-face sessions and presentation of papers.
The activities and schedule will be presented at the initial meeting, and will be published in the ADD or in the usual means of communication.
Visits to the school are not mandatory, since they are not included in the credits assigned to the tutors of the faculties. However, it is up to the student's choice to observe the development of a class period, for which they will arrange date and time with the tutor of the center.
The activities and dates are officially assigned by the center and published on the official Unizar website, as well as on the Anillo Digital Docente (ADD) or other means to be announced at the beginning of the term.
5. Assessment system
1. Type of tests and their value on the final grade and evaluation criteria for each test.
The student must demonstrate that they have achieved the intended learning results through the following assessment activities:
Activity A. Elaboration of an academic paper.
This academic work will consist of three parts:
Observation and research. (20% of the final grade).
Design and implementation of activities. (20% of the final grade).
Reflection and self-evaluation on their teaching practice (10% of the final grade).
The format of the academic work will have the formal characteristics specified in section 4, in relation to learning activities.
Activity B. Participation in tutorials and seminars convened by the teacher of the subject and discussion of the report.
The student's participation in tutorials and seminars convened by the teacher represents 5% of the final grade. The discussion of the report is 5% of the final grade.
Activity C. Student involvement and performance in the school.
To evaluate this activity the teacher of the subject will take into account the information provided by the tutor teacher of the school . The evaluation of this activity represents 40% of the grade.
Assessment criteria
In the evaluation activities the following aspects will be assessed
1. Rigor in the observation and analysis of the performance of the Aragonese language classroom teacher in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
2. The adequacy of the reflections and analysis of the materials used.
3. Creativity and effectiveness in the design of didactic activities and in the application of teaching strategies.
4. The correctness in the structuring, writing and, where appropriate, oral defence of the academic work in Aragonese with a level of proficiency equivalent to at least B2.
Requirements to pass the subject
In order to pass the subject, it is required to obtain at least a 5 out of 10 in each of the evaluation activities.
If the above requirement is fulfilled, the final grade will be the weighted sum of the grades obtained in activities A, B and C. The subject will be passed when this final grade is equal to or higher than 5.
If the requirement is not met, the final grade will be the weighted sum of the grades obtained in activities A, B and C, if it is less than or equal to 4; and it will be 4 when the weighted sum of the grades obtained in activities A, B and C is greater than 4.
Those students who, not having passed the subject, have fulfilled the prerequisite of attendance to the internship center and have a grade equal to or higher than 5 out of 10 in evaluation activity C, will not have to repeat the attendance to the internship center.
Prerequisite
Attendance at the internship center for the entire established period is a necessary condition for being evaluated in the
subject. Both justified and unjustified causes must be notified (and justified if applicable) to the University tutor and to the school tutor. All student absences must be made up in order to ensure 90 hours of attendance to the school. However, unexcused absences, apart from the fact that they must be made up, subtract 0.1 point from the final grade for each hour of absence.
Exceptionality
This subject complies with the provisions of Article 9.4 of the Regulations of the Learning Assessment Standards of the University of Zaragoza, which states: "Exceptionally, those subjects that due to their special practical or clinical dimension and in which students must necessarily demonstrate their knowledge or skills in facilities or locations outside the conventional classroom , may be evaluated only by the continuous evaluation modality. This exceptionality must be declared by the Quality Assurance Committee of the degree and will have the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee, applying it, in any case, only to the practical dimension of the subject."
Second call
Students will not be eligible for a second call, when any of the following reasons apply:
Failure to arrive at the internship center on the date established for this purpose, without a justified cause and implying the abandonment of the internship.
Abandonment of practices once they have begun.
Failure to obtain at least a grade of 1.5 in Activity C (Involvement and performance of the student in the school) the second call is therefore only contemplated when:
The grading criteria established for activities A and/or B have not been met, but the student has at least a grade of 1.5 in activity C
In this case, the student must re-submit the internship report (Activity A) and/or participate in the seminars and discussion of the report (Activity B) on the dates agreed with the responsible teacher, which must be at least 7 days before the official closing date of the second call.
"Finally, it must be taken into account that the Rules of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to the irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of Article 30 of the Regulations of the Norms of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud”
Fifth and sixth call:
Students in 5th and 6th call will be evaluated with the same evaluation system as the rest of the students, but their evaluation will be carried out by a board of examiners.
